My Journey of Elegant Clothing in Harmony with Nature
Hello everyone,
As I chase all my Christmas deadlines, I pause and turn to myself at this very special and joyous time. I reflect on my immense gratitude to you, our happy little community, for supporting The Casual Twinkle‘s journey to dress in harmony with nature. I am happy to share my love for our planet and our children with you.
I started The Casual Twinkle journey to honor the beauty that nature manifests through a landscape, a sunset over the sea and my beloved mountain peaks. Inspired by the delicious harmony of these situations, the clothes and shoes of our online boutique are made from natural materials and soft fabrics. They bring joy and elegance to the hearts of our children and to our souls.
Until recently, we used to believe that all clothes were the same. Of course, some brands are more beautiful, more exclusive, and more luxurious. As an expert in fashion, sustainability, and brand management, I have always seen it differently. The ethics of production and the quality of what touches our skin feel much more meaningful when our clothes are made in harmony with the planet and with us, its inhabitants. The way clothes are made is the flavor of what we dress.
I am excited to see many people and organisations that are moving towards a more sustainable and greener way of living. For me, this does not mean making an effort, but simply embracing a more conscious and authentic lifestyle. While we are grateful for the beauty of nature, we respect that beauty. It’s a precious moment in our lives. Everything becomes more meaningful. In the world of fashion, I believe we should treat those who make our clothes with love. We have to think about the materials we wear and we have a beautiful opportunity to design our clothes with this bigger picture in mind, which is called circularity of resources. Our Earth provides the natural resources to make our clothes, we can fill our souls by cultivating with love what has been offered to us.
I am grateful not only for the dedication I have shown in bringing my projects to life, but also for working directly with our brands, who are committed to making bold choices every day that are sensitive to water resources, air quality and well-being, and to the involvement of specialized indigenous communities. The more we work with nature, the more it will benefit us.
From my words you can understand the journey we are taking with The Casual Twinkle. You and I are creating a positive culture towards a future of elegance and grace. We have respect for nature and for ourselves. It is a bond that connects together past, present and future generations. We honor the tradition of tailoring, knitting and animal care. Practices that are passed down through generations with our passion for doing good things. We embrace innovation through circular processes that allow us to dress in harmony with nature. We welcome a prosperous and regenerative future.
As a mother of two, I want to pass on to them a culture that is as delicate as it is full of love. So here I am, grateful to be able to dress my children in a joyful, elegant way that dances in harmony with the beauty of our world.
I am grateful to you, mum, dad, grandma, aunt, who believed in our spirit. The art of designing, sewing and making clothes from the finest fabrics is something you deeply believed. I imagine it also made you proud to see your son or daughter wearing good and beautiful clothes. I think you are happy to see his or her feet wrapped in handmade shoes made of soft, natural leather. This goodness caresses your children every day, and through them, our planet.
I believe in a gentle childhood dressed in natural clothes. I know that we are one big family, our The Casual Twinkle community, that are united in embracing the beauty that nature offers us.
